This prelaunch disclosure describes the implementation today. The operator must complete the production privacy notice, processing grounds, retention rules, hosting and transfer disclosures before commercial launch. This page is not a claim that those reviews are finished.
Your account and session
Signing up supplies a name, email address and password to the authentication service. The account system stores account records and password credentials through its authentication library. Session cookies keep you signed in, and session records can include expiry, IP address and browser information. These records support sign-in and access control.
Your shortlist and notes
The current shortlist, research statuses and notes are stored in localStorage on the browser you use. They are not synchronized to your account. Clearing that site storage removes the saved shortlist from that browser; other people using the same browser profile may be able to see it. A CSV export, where available, is downloaded to your device.
Payments
The Dodo integration sends an authenticated checkout request to the payment provider when checkout is enabled. Payment details are entered on Dodo’s hosted pages. Launchnome’s billing records track provider customer and payment identifiers, payment status and directory access; the billing form does not collect full card details.
Test and live billing records are separated. Test checkout does not activate live directory access. The provider handles information entered on its checkout and portal under its own terms and privacy notice, which should be reviewed before use.
Professional profiles and research records
The research corpus contains organization and professional profile information and source-observed contact routes, including business emails, websites and social profile links. Source and field review is still in progress. A fact being publicly visible is not treated as blanket permission for every later use.
Collection URLs and review evidence are kept in private research records. They are not included in customer profile responses or shortlist exports. Relevant information about data origins must still be provided where required for privacy requests, notices or licence obligations.
Links to LinkedIn, X, application pages or other sites take you to services with their own data practices. Launchnome’s current interface does not send a message to those profiles for you.
Some profile logos are served by Launchnome. Other logos and portraits load from the official publisher’s image host. That host receives your browser’s image request, including its IP address. Image requests omit the Launchnome page referrer. We do not embed social media widgets on profile pages.
Corrections, removal and account requests
For a profile correction or removal request, identify the profile or Launchnome URL and the field concerned. For an account request, identify the account email. Avoid sending passwords, API keys or unrelated identity documents.
A public request address has not yet been supplied. The contact page will show it when configured; a working request channel is required before public commercial launch.
What remains to be finalized
Retention periods, production hosting locations, any international transfers, the applicable processing grounds and the complete request process have not yet been published. No fixed response or deletion period is promised by this draft.
